Rotary Club of Norfolk
At a Rotary Club of Norfolk meeting you will notice colorful banners from Rotary Clubs around the globe. These are reminders that our club is part of the larger community of 34,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and territories.
Many members have enjoyed meeting Rotarians on trips to Europe, Canada and in all 50 states in our country. Our club also welcomes visiting Rotarians from around the world. One tradition is for Rotarians to exchange club banners. Our club's banner features the City of Norfolk seal and our club's founding year -- 1914.
In 2014 we sent our banner to Bradford, England with Ross Wood of Norfolk, who is studying there on a Rotary Peace Fellowship. He is sponsored by our club and is shown below exchanging a Norfolk banner with the president of the Rotary Club of Skipton in Great Britain.
