Project Makeover Hampton Roads

Project Makeover Hampton Roads is collaborative community initiative by The Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach, tHRive Young Professionals and the Urban Renewal Center.  Its purpose is to create a more dynamic learning environment for elementary students in Hampton Roads.  We plan to accomplish this goal by refurbishing one elementary school each year, which is only possible with the help of awesome volunteers like you!

This year, we will be making over Jacox Elementary School (1300 Marshall Avenue, 23504) in Norfolk, VA.  The makeover will take place from Friday, August 17th - Sunday, August 19th, 2018.  Closer to the makeover weekend, we will send out confirmation emails with more instructions.

This event is RAIN OR SHINE and volunteers must be age 18 or older.  Volunteer shift times are available as follows.  If you would like to spend more than one shift with us, feel free to pick multiple days/times!  Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before you selected shifts start time.
