Mercy Medical Angels

Please join us in supporting one of our club's 2023 grantees with this service project. Start by gathering for breakfast with your fellow Rotarians at Panera (739 W 21st St, Norfolk). Then we will distribute packets of Mercy Medical Angels information that promote their charitable transportation services for low-income patients (including children, cancer patients and Veterans). This is a way for in-need patients to learn about available services for them by placing these cards where they will be seen and picked up by those in need. You will be provided with a pre-selected list of facilities including doctor offices, treatment centers, YMCA, YWCA, Salvation Army posts, American Legion Posts, VFW Posts, etc.

Cards can be distributed on Friday morning or whenever your schedule allows. Please note some destinations may only be open during regular business hours.
