Regardless of how vibrant a club is, if it doesn’t have an active membership recruitment program, the club will lose members as they age or their job requirements change. Although the entire club is responsible for membership recruitment, on a national level, an amazing 70% of Rotarians never sponsor a new member. The Membership Recruitment committee educates the membership on techniques for bringing in new members. It also encourages club members to bring prospective candidates to the meeting and tell them of Rotary’s contributions to the local community as well as the world.
