Rotary Foundation/Norfolk Rotary Endowment

The Rotary Foundation helps fund humanitarian activities from local service projects to international initiatives through the Annual Fund. One of the premises is although contributions are voluntary, Rotary International encourages the participation of Every Rotarian, Every Year (EREY). Since 1985, the Polio Plus initiative has been the eradication of polio throughout the world through immunizations of children in third world countries. The Foundation Committee leads our EREY effort for the Annual Fund. The Norfolk Rotary Endowment focuses on improving our Hampton Roads community. Managed by the Hampton Roads Community Foundation, the club receives an annual distribution and distributes these funds to local charities selected by our Grants Committee. The Endowment Committee leads our club’s effort to encourage members to support our local efforts by giving funds to our Norfolk Rotary Endowment.
