CHAIR RESPONSIBILITIES: With regard to LOCAL GRANTS: seek input and assistance from committee members to: advertise availability of grant funds to area non-profits; publish/distribute grant application with specific instructions and deadline information; collate all received applications; prepare a spreadsheet for committee members' use in deliberating which applicants will be selected to receive what specified amount; and chair the selection meeting. Ensure all applicants are informed of the committee's final selections and checks are delivered. When directed, widely advertise list of grant winners. REGARDING DISTRICT GRANTS: During the Local Grants selection process, committee members will select one application to be considered for funding through a District 7600 grant. Work with committee to reach out to area Rotary clubs to lead/join a consortium that would allow increased potential funding from D7600 for local projects.
