Military Affairs

The military and associated contractors are a huge part of the Hampton Roads economy with Federal expenditures totaling 47% of the region’s gross product. They impact every phase of our community as well as being our neighbors and friends. The club is fortunate to have many retired military as members. In conjunction with the District, our club has been working to establish a Rotary Club at Naval Station Norfolk. One of our club members, Tom Richards, was involved in establishing the Miramar Semper Fidelis Rotary Club which meets on the military base in San Diego.
