Daily Raffle

One of our Club’s fund raising activities is the Daily Raffle. As members enter the meeting, they are encouraged to buy a group of three raffle tickets at the bargain price of $2. Members can also get tickets by having a 100% table (1 ticket) or attending another club (excluding the e-clubs). This enters them into the daily raffle drawing at the end of the meeting. At the end of the meeting, there is the daily raffle where the committee has a deck of cards. The winning raffle ticket is drawn by someone, frequently the speaker, and the member with the matching ticket wins. By winning the daily raffle, the winner picks a card from a deck and has an opportunity to win the “big pot” which can range from a lowly amount if there was a recent “big pot” winner, to a significant pot if it has been a while. Distribution of the big pot to those who draw the Queen of Spades is based upon their club attendance). Visitors who win the big pot get 50% of the big pot.
