Guest Read at Teddy Bear Tea

We are seeking up to 20 volunteers to “guest read” to kindergartener and first grade students as part of their "Teddy Bear Tea" on Friday, July 11th at Norfolk Collegiate, 7336 Granby St., Norfolk, VA 23505. (Enter through Middle School doors off Suburban Parkway).

We need at least six volunteers to read to the kindergarten and first graders in the main room.Additional volunteers will be assigned to 2^nd through 8^th grade students to read and encourage their interest in reading with them. 

Horizon Hampton Roads is a Norfolk Rotary Charities 2025 grant beneficiary.  Thanks to our grant, the children will leave the event with free books and a teddy bear to read to.
