The work was nece ssary to prepare for the final project phase\, the planting. On 11 May\ , we complete the work begun in March by planting grasses in the wetland and high marsh\, and upland plants along the Lafayette River bank. Locat ion: Granby/Willow Wood Park\, between the Granby Street and Willow Wood Drive bridges (parking is available across Granby Street and in adjoining neighborhoods). Gloves and boots or closed-toe shoes are recommended. This will be a fun day\, and a fitting culmination of the work begun in March. For questions\, contact Project Leader John Stewart at jdste wart1@cox.net .
