Why is the Hampton Roads Community Foundation involved?

Donald Luzzatto is vice president for civic engagement at the Hampton Roads Community Foundation. Before joining the staff in 2017, he was editorial page editor at The Virginian-Pilot. Previously, he was an editor in Virginia, Florida, Pennsylvania and Tokyo, Japan.  Don earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the College of William & Mary. He is past president of the Downtown Suffolk Rotary Club and serves as a board member for the Suffolk Youth Athletic Association, where he also coaches soccer, as well as the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts.
