Philion joined the VSO staff in 2011 as Vice President of Development. During her tenure in that position, Philion directed fundraising efforts that resulted in significant increased contributions in each of the past three years. Prior to joining the VSO, Philion held top management positions at the Buffalo Philharmonic, as well as with two unique statewide non-profit institutions -- the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, and as Deputy Director of the Alaska Public Radio Network.
