The club launched its participation in "Paint Your Hear Out" in the spring of 1995.  The club raised funds and rounded up volunteers to paint homes of elderly low-income citizens in the area....all in one day!  The first year, Rotarians (with a bit of hired help) painted three houses.   At the time, the board had hoped to grow the program to 12 homes, but donations exceeded expectations and the club was able to paint 15 homes in the 2nd year!  With the support of many club members, including co-captains Jim O'Brien and Gene Justice (aka "Click and Clack"), the program grew to include 22 homes at one time.
