The Rotary Club of Norfolk meets three Tuesdays a month for lunch and a speaker at 12:15 in th ballroom at Norfolk Yacht and Country Club in Norfolk.  In addition there is an array of community service projects, socials and activities club members can choose to attend each month. Regular attendance of meetings and other activities is encouraged and lets members gain the full value of Rotary fellowship and connections.

Members are encouraged to attend as many of the monthly meetings or activities as possible. The more become involved, the more you will enjoy it.  Attending a luncheon or other activity counts as a meeting or a makeup. Missed meetings can be made up in a variety of ways including attending:

1) A meeting of another Rotary club -- either in our region or around the globe. (Our members will tell you they have have a lot of fun getting to know Rotarians in other countries while visiting their clubs.)

2) A board meeting of our club or a committee meeting. (A great way to connect with other members and be in the know.)

3) A hands-on Rotary community service event. (This ranges from participating in Clean the Bay Day to sorting donated canned goods at the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia.)

4) A fun Rotary social that might be at a club member's home, at a family outing to the zoo or at a Tides baseball game.

4) An eClub meeting, which lets you learn something new online.
